Education
Doctorate in Audiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, 2020; bachelor’s degree with honors in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Case Western Reserve University.
Clinical training
Completed her externship at the Washington University Center for Hearing and Balance Disorders and worked in several research laboratories.
Limited St. Louis support
Dr. Abrams, AuD, provides limited contract support for select in-person professional services at the Merit Hearing St. Louis / Richmond Heights office.
About Dr. Jenna Abrams, AuD
Dr. Jenna Abrams, AuD, earned her Doctorate in Audiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis after completing an honors undergraduate degree at Case Western Reserve University. Her graduate training combined clinical work at the Center for Hearing and Balance Disorders with research experience.
After graduation, she began working in telehealth audiology and developed a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through that model. Dr. Abrams, AuD, supports Merit Hearing on a limited basis. She occasionally assists the St. Louis office when a service requires an in-person audiologist and cannot be completed through telehealth. The clinic coordinates this limited support as needed; patients cannot routinely schedule directly with her.
Published research
Dr. Abrams, AuD, coauthored a peer-reviewed study of machine-learning audiometry. The research evaluated a standardized automated masking process intended to obtain accurate hearing thresholds more efficiently.

Outside the clinic
A Chicago native who has made St. Louis home, Dr. Abrams, AuD, enjoys exploring the city. On weekends, she can often be found with her husband, children, and dog. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and visiting vintage stores.
