Professional background
Jordyn has worked in the medical field for more than a decade. She began as a Patient Care Coordinator and earned her CNA and Hearing Instrument Specialist licenses in 2019.
Hearing care experience
Her experience includes hearing aid selection, fittings, adjustments, troubleshooting, technology education, and helping patients get the most from their devices.
Current role
Jordyn works full time with Merit Hearing’s Omaha team, supporting patients and staff through front office and hearing aid technician services.
About Jordyn Schnabel, HIS
Jordyn Schnabel, HIS, has worked in the medical field for more than a decade. She began her career as a Patient Care Coordinator and earned her CNA and Hearing Instrument Specialist licenses in 2019.
Before joining Merit Hearing, Jordyn spent several years providing hearing care in rural Iowa. Her experience includes hearing aid selection and technology, fittings and adjustments, troubleshooting, patient education, and helping patients get the most out of their hearing devices.
At Merit Hearing, Jordyn enjoys building genuine relationships with patients and providing practical, compassionate support throughout their hearing journey.
Communication and community involvement
Jordyn is passionate about serving the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. She has experience communicating in American Sign Language (ASL) and regularly volunteers with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for the many ways people communicate and for hearing care that is accessible, comfortable, and individualized.
Outside of work
Away from work, you can usually find Jordyn tending to her ever-growing collection of plants, planning her next adventure, or volunteering her time to serve and encourage others through her faith. She also enjoys discovering new places, trying new recipes, and finding the fun in everyday life.
