Whether you purchased your hearing aids with us, or through another company, we are happy to take care of your continuing healthcare needs. We work with all major brands of hearing aids including: Oticon, Phonak, ReSound, Rexton, Widex, Unitron, Starkey, and Signia. Our services include hearing aid services, tinnitus & hyperacusis management, CAPD therapy, and OSHA occupational hearing testing.

Hearing Aid Service Subscriptions
While we are an “unbundled” clinic, we do offer hearing aid service subscription plans. Purchasing a service plan is always optional, but it may provide additional savings and peace of mind. Service plans are valid at any Merit Hearing location.
In order to purchase a service plan, your hearing aids must be in good working order. The hearing aids do not have to have been purchased from Merit Hearing to qualify. Service plans are non-refundable.
Silver Service Plan – $10/month
The Silver Plan is a great option for patients who have stable hearing who can manage routine maintenance at home and who utilize their hearing aid app to make adjustments. The Silver plan includes:
- Hearing aid drop-offs for cleaning, tube changes, or repairs
- Technician assistance
- In-warranty manufacturer hearing aid repairs
- 15% off hearing aid batteries
- 15% off dome tips and wax filters
The Silver Plan costs $120/year
Gold Service Plan – $24/month
The Gold Plan offers additional advantages and is an excellent choice for patients who want comprehensive service coverage and who prefer to see their provider in-person. The Gold Plan includes:
- Hearing aid drop-offs for cleaning, tube changes, or repairs
- Technician assistance
- In-warranty manufacturer hearing aid repairs
- Hearing aid adjustment appointments
- Hearing aid check appointments
- 50% off hearing aid batteries
- 50% off dome tips and wax filters
The Gold plan costs $288/year.
**These service plans do not cover lost hearing aids or out-of-warranty repairs by the manufacturer. If hearing aids are out-of-warranty, replacement parts (such as receivers) are not included.

Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD)
Patients must be 7 years of age or older and have normal hearing (as evidenced by a hearing test within the last 6 moths) to be evaluated and treated for CAPD. CAPD testing and therapy is currently available in our Omaha and Ankeny offices.
