Widex introduced the Moment hearing aid family in 2020. It was an important generation in the company’s product history, but it is no longer accurate to describe Moment as Widex’s latest technology. Widex Allure is the company’s current platform as of this review date.

What Widex Moment introduced
Widex Moment was developed around the company’s emphasis on natural sound. The family included multiple behind-the-ear and in-the-ear styles, rechargeable and disposable-battery options, and technology levels intended for different listening needs and budgets.
A central Moment feature was PureSound with ZeroDelay processing, designed to reduce the delay that can occur when amplified sound mixes with sound entering the ear naturally. Available features differed by style and technology level.
Does a newer Widex platform mean Moment must be replaced?
No. A hearing aid does not need to be replaced solely because a newer family has been released. If your Moment devices remain reliable, appropriate for your hearing loss, and useful in your daily listening environments, an audiologist may be able to continue adjusting and servicing them.
Consider an evaluation if the devices no longer provide enough benefit, require frequent repairs, cannot support features or connectivity you need, or no longer match your hearing. Bring the exact model information to the appointment so the provider can check service and accessory availability.
